- Manage, perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects and Programs (products and systems)
- Deliver safe solutions (Projects and Programs)
Key accountabilities:
- Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project / system / product as per Safety process defined in Signalling Safety Instruction
- Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspective
- Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning - Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases
- Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / product
- Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews
- Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors
- Manage (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources)
Key Job Authorities and Dimensions
- Safety reference on the related Projects/Program for the Core team, Customer (internal or external) and assessors/SA (internal and external) - Team manager if SAE involved
- Safety budget responsible.
Educational Requirements:
- Advanced University or Engineering degree
- English operational in reading and writing for technical documentation Experience
- Mastering Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc ) and safety methodology & concepts/principles
- 5 years successful experience in safety assurance - Including 2 years in
Railway business

- System, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering knowledge
- Experience in management
